Located in West Hollywood, California, Co-Conspiracy Entertainment is a TV development and production company specializing in creating unique and compelling content. Whether developing and producing new formats through digital series, podcasting and print, or creating original concepts, we’re your source for binge-worthy series creative.

Past and current shows span genres including: science, history, mystery, big competition, and gameshows. Our style of diving deep into writing, research, casting, and creating formats has made us the “go to” for our production partners and networks. From epic formats to intimate character portraits, from true crime documentaries to warm and fuzzy animal stories…yeah, that was us.

The creative development team of Rob Cohen and Christine Roth founded Co-Conspiracy Entertainment in 2012 after 13 years as development executives creating long running TV formats like Animal Planet’s My Cat from Hell and developing the creative and pitch materials for the presentation, sale and launch of Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey cable network. As Vice President of Creative Services at Shine International, Cohen developed and sold The Face with Naomi Campbell (Oxygen). Cohen and Roth also developed Mad Fashion with Chris March (Bravo) and created, developed, wrote and produced two seasons of their makeover competition The Look: Allstars (Sinclair).

The team also developed formats at international production companies such as Mark Burnett Productions, Fremantle Media, Asylum Entertainment and Banijay Studios North America to name a few. Those formats include: Taken at Birth (TLC) Origins (Nat Geo), The Bible (History Channel), Expedition Impossible (ABC), Sarah Palin's Alaska (TLC), BattleBots (Discovery) and Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual (WE) Covert Kitchens with Graham Elliot (Spike) and Don't Drop the Money (Shine Germany/FOX).

Always on the hunt for new ways to develop talent and ideas, the two started developing science, paranormal and true crime audio and video podcasts several years ago. In the midst of the pandemic they developed and produced a Paranormal digital network for MY Entertainment.

While still developing competition shows and documentary series for TV, Cohen and Roth also decided to develop livestreams and FAST content, including Scared & Alone, This Old Haunted House and The Witches Movie Coven.

For some reason, and despite great success with history, adventure, game and beauty formats, many of the shows Co-Conspiracy develops have fallen into the categories of "Science" and "Spooky".

SCIENCE SHOWS

Rob Cohen and Christine Roth have written, developed and produced over 20 years of compelling science-related television, digital and audio content. They have cast, written, developed and produced television shows including “Origins: The Story of Humankind” (Nat Geo), and the DNA adoption mystery “Taken At Birth” (TLC/Hulu), as well as the long running podcast “Foodie Pharmacology with Dr. Cassandra Quave” which currently is funded in part by the Rockefeller Foundation through a grant to the American Heart Association for its PTFI Initiative.

They’ve also developed and cast science programming on the subjects of general science, AI, anthropology, metallurgy, marine archeology, paleo-archeology, space travel/colonization, medicine and more for production companies such as ITV America, Red Arrow Studios, Banijay, Fremantle, Mark Burnett Productions and Shine America to name a few.

SPOOKY SHOWS

Roth & Cohen have also produced over 500 hrs of paranormal TV, digital, and streaming content. They have written, developed and produced horror/paranormal themed competitions including “Scream Queens” hosted by James Gunn, and Sam Raimi’s “13: Fear Is Real”, as well as the live stream investigation and interview formats “Scared & Alone” and “This Old Haunted House”.

They’ve also produced hundreds of interviews featuring paranormal celebrities from the ghost hunters and demonologists of the Travel Channel to the mediums, witches, vampires and werewolf experts well outside the mainstream. They have also consulted and created modules for niche entertainment verticals, including a paranormal entertainment vertical.

Rob Cohen & Christine Roth started their collaboration more than 32 years ago. After pursuing careers for two decades both separately and together as game designers, creative directors, artists, authors, editors, publishers, writer-producers and development executives, they joined forces for Co-ConspiracyEntertainment and Rothco Press in 2013.
